PROJECT
FINISHED
The aim of the project is to create a cross-border locality management system (i.e. purchase of equipment, maintenance of public institutions, common use of machines etc.) under the direction of a common management. The system is based on solid studies and operated through an IT-solution serving as the main tool of communication between the municipalities in the area. With the help of a bilingual dispatcher the centre realised in Carei, all the equipment and machines owned by the municipalities entered in an inventory and used by any of the participants of the system (37 localities) along a system of timing. The new solution of locality management reduces the management costs of each participant. In addition, a suppliers evaluation system is elaborated and used through a dynamic database. Cross-border group procurements and the database result in further decrease of management costs. This way PPs propose to improve the quality of cross-border communication involving 37 settlements and people who live in these localities. The general objective of the project is increase attractiveness and improvement of quality of locality management; develop communication for a better life quality in the border area. The direct target group is composed by the representatives of the local public administrations (37 institutions, 2 public servants from each institution, totally 74 participants, 52 from Hungary and 22 from Romania), participants to all trainings and joint activities (74 people), the people who use the joint portal (200 people in 3 years), 3 new employees of the joint system, the participants to the conferences (2 x 60 persons). The main specific activities of the project are: analysis of the legal background; functional analysis; equipment database; planning of the new joint system and system development.Other project results: 6 studies, 1 non-public portal development, 2 conferences, 1000 brochures, 1 project film.
