Trans-Atlantic Network Established for Converting Brownfields Into Community Assets
Start date: Sep 16, 2010,

The project will provide a mobility programme for 40 students spending 4 months abroad with a practical component dealing with the multi-faceted issues associated with the redevelopment of inner city industrial brownfields. The lvel of students will be undegraduate and graduate master students. Subsequently, specific cases will be investigated in the field in a variety of countries in order to familiarize students with the reality of this international phenomenon. Our research results will be disseminated through an online journal and the original network of participants will be extended to create a community of Canadian and European universities dealing from an international perspective with brownfields development.
