Training course 'Voluntary Service 2.0'

2011 has been officially designated the European year of volunteering by the EC. One of the best ways to celebrate year of volunteering is the further development of existing voluntary services. It is responsibility towards the youth we are working with to provide them with the highest quality of voluntary service which will allow them to learn and develop through participation, as well as contribute to the development of local community.The main aim of this training course is to build capacities of both participants and organizations to bring their existing voluntary services to a higher level of quality volunteer management and to enhance the visibility of those services. Within TC practical handbook will be developed and it will contain concrete tools, methods and tips for improving existing voluntary services. Handbook will contribute to a better dissemination of the project outcomes and it will be available to all interested organizations, either as electronic or paper copies.Training course „Voluntary Service 2.0“ will gather 25 youth workers from 10 European countries (Serbia, Macedonia, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Ukraina, Croatia, Finland, Hungary and Slovenia). Training will last for 7 days (excluding travel days) and it will be held in Mali Idjos in Serbia, hosted by Volunteers’Centre of Vojvodina.
