TRADE ON-LINE - On-line training for the development of rural areas in Europe

The aim of the Trade On-line project is to improve intervention instruments with a view to increasing employability in the agricultural and rural development sector. A new occupational profile, "specialist in employability promotion in rural areas", will be established.Initially the partnership will focus on analysing employment prospects in rural areas and on national and regional policies on employment and rural development. On the basis of the findings of the analysis a new occupational profile and training course can be established.The products available at the end of the project will be: benchmarks for national and regional standards regarding employment in rural areas; a report on employment and training policies specifically focused on rural areas; the occupational profile of "specialist in employability promotion in rural areas" and training tools.The beneficiaries of the project results will be public decision-makers (in particular those involved in rural development), job-seekers, employees and SMEs in the agricultural and rural development sector.The project results will be disseminated via information brochures, seminars and conferences.
