Main objective in the project is to create a frame for developing cooperation between northern Lapland and Varanger region with focus on tourism. This can be attained by taking care of existing knowledge in tourism in northern Lapland as well as the possibilities that Varanger region offers. It is important for northern Lapland that tourism and knowledge of it develops in Varanger region because that tourist places in northern Norway is of significant importance also for northern Lapland. Cooperation project between municipalities is important when exchanging knowledge in tourism industry.
