In our project we will develop the modeling background of Tisza River. It ensures to choose the right activities in between the dikes. Main inputs of the model are the characteristic data of the cross-section, and discharge and water level values. On the Hungarian side the instruments used to measure the necessary input values of the model will be developed. A boat will be bought with hydrometrical and geodetic equipment. On the Serbian side the activities have 3 parts: -developing the same measuring instruments as in Hungary (except for a boat that they have already)-Vode Vojvodine-creation of HEC-RAS model(3D digital mapping, prognostic model of flood wave, new strategies in flood) joining the Hungarian one (this activity also needs to change the relevant data)-University,-Vode Vojvodine also examines the water quality, which is also a risk factor on all rivers.The results will be: -The new instruments ensure the necessary renewing of the existing models database, -The Serbian model completes the whole system (Tisza River 1D HEC-RAS model). Achievements: River modelling harmonization of both side of the border on the river Tisza has been achieved. Also upgrading of equipment had been procured, which helps to decision makers in further water management activities.
