TIME TO PROTECT NATURE

We are informal youth group which is name BAYRAMÖREN GENÇLIK GRUBU. We organized youth exchange project.“Time to protect Nature” was youth exchange project - KA1 under Erasmus plus programme. Project took 16-23 November 2014 in Çankiri, TURKEY. The project “Time to Protect Nature” was an International Youth Exchange that took place in Çankiri, and it will involve 42 young people from 7 different countries. Partners are Turkey, Egytp, Belarus, Lithuanaia, Romania, Italy and Bulgaria. Participants were between 17-25 years old and they did some preparation for project beaside all we selected participants according to participant application form. Our goal was to create a cooperation context between the participants and spread love and respect for the nature, the spirit of solidarity and group, stimulating the imagination and creativity of youth. Through the project "" Time to Protect Nature "", the young people understood how important is to respect the environment and nature and have a sustainable lifestyles. We implemented many activities understanding of the environment as a resource for earth and will explore their role as Active European Citizen in preserving and respecting the nature and the environment. They deal with the topics through the non-formal education approach, including outdoor activities, workshop such us environmental sculpture, games with the aim to brake stereotypes, guided tours and so on. Before the project each group prepared on the theme, focusing on their national reality, they documented examples of good and bad practices in their own country, and create movies or theater skech that were presented during the exchange.
