Think Green
Start date: Apr 1, 2015, End date: Oct 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The aim of this project is to encourage the participants to think about topics like critical consumption, sustainable development, pollution, global warming and clean energy, and to link the activities together with a practical approach of environmental education. Our life style causes impacts at local, national and global level, and we all suffer the consequences of it, but both the problem and the solution seems often to be so far from our real responsibility and possibility to change the situation. With the aim of shorten this distance, we will work on practical activities, learning at the beginning how to reuse wastes in our daily life, and learning during the project how to build up a little wind turbin. After all, learning by doing it is the easiest way to be able to repeat what we learnt in the future. The topics of the exchange will be developed with non-formal learning activities, group activities, simulation and role playing games on environmental protection, practical workshops of recycling, sport, video and cultural visits. In this context, the participants will realize a video-spot that will be used to promote and disseminate the project in the future. In addition, the project wants to promote active citizenship at local and European level, informing citizens about their role in the society and about the relevant surplus value provided by the European Institutions in terms of policy making. Indeed, one of the main aim consists in making the participants aware of being citizens of the EU.
