The virtual gate to the archipelago region

TThe aim of the project was to offer participants an arena for information and communication,as well as to create a tool and a forum for various tourism- related organisations andprojects within the archipelago region.The project was divided into two parts, partly the non-commercial border region section(www.skargarden.com), partly the commercial tourism portal (www.scandinavianislands.com).The central aim for the above-mentioned portals was to collect the extensive butwidespread information about products and companies in the archipelago, systemise theinformation and make it available for various user groups. The portals also complementedthe Scandinavian Islands (Skargarden) project, because the Scandinavian Islands project wasmainly focused on the content and functionality, not the technical portions of the web page.
