The most important starting point of the Project is B. Crick's quote “in a simpler manner, man obey the rules, citizens have role in changing and making rules. ” .
Our “The sun of youth enlightening the history” Project named after Hittite civilization and the symbol of art:”the sun of hittite”; is developed to be applied with 40 participants and the partner countries from Bulgaria, France, Latvia and Romania, in 13-22th of oct 2014, in Çorum, Turkey in order to ensure youngster's getting to know european citizenship and participatory elements and bringing youth participation strategies and political recommends to solve the problems by acquiring information, experiences and skills about historical facts, archaeological outputs, culturel heritages and intercultural learning.
-youngsters to have knowledge about each other's historical and cultural values.
-to acquire experience/information by using non-formal education methods about mutual respect, human rights, democracy, European citizenship, participation by assuring intercultural learning environment; and to encourage youngsters about active citizenship and European citizenship.
-raising awareness about increasing acquaintance and protecting our local heritages and our culture.
-sharing youth problems with decision makers and law makers, youngsters to develop a covering policy by revealing their differences and common points.
-to ensure the active participation of young people with fewer opportunities
-increasing acquaintance and visibility of Erasmus+
Our project was developed to fulfill main objectives and priorities of youth works highly. The content of the project was formed to encourage youngsters about active citizenship and European citizenship, by non-formal education methods used, there will be mutual respect and tolerance between young people who will share different cultural values from different countries and have knowledge about Turkish culture. Intercultural nights and simulations/workshops on intercultural learning aim to increase European cooperation in youth field by developing this understanding. The communal and institutional partnership that exists before the project will develop a sustainable partnership by making a positive impact on capacity building in youth field.
