Project carried out by Ośrodek Szkolno-Wychowawczy No 2 for the Deaf And Hard Of Hearing In Wejherowo, in consultation and cooperation with a Spanish partner Euromind Projects S.L. and the school of SAFA Ntra. Sra. de los Reyes. in Seville. Project title: "The Solar Energy House. Building A Self-Sufficient Energy House -professional vocational placement for students who are deaf in Spain”. Within the framework of the project two tasks have been completed: The task under the title "The Solar Energy House", which we have adopted as the title of the entire project, which is an innovative and interesting way associated with each EU priorities for Europe's energy policy, the principles of sustainable development with the widely understood education of the society for the saving and energy preservation. A task that has shown students the existence of alternative sources of energy and its practical use. A group of 10 students took part in this project, in the profession of: IT technicians and carpenters. Their task was to design and build the " self-sufficient energy house". The house was built under the supervision of the Spanish and Polish tutor. The aim of the practical training was to know the possibilities of solar energy. The students have acquired knowledge related to both - the design and construction of the house, as well as got some practical knowledge about solar energy. The other task of the project has been a continuation of the foreign vocational placement carried out by our school entitled: "DEAF PROFESSIONALS -professional vocational placements of students who are deaf in Spain”. 6 students took part at the placement of the group in the profession: techni cian to nutrition and food service. Students worked in Spanish companies catering services. These were small restaurants and pubs.
