The new way... Edutainment
Start date: May 1, 2016, End date: Apr 30, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

The underachievement and media illiteracy has been two of the main issues faced by the young people we work with. The school school dropout, in addition to the lack of financial resources, happens by the lack of connection between the student its educational system. They are inserted in huge classes, where there is no space for working individual talents and non-formal methods. We want, to find a solution that promotes the continued education of young people in an appealing way for them, while fighting media illiteracy and enable them, in terms of tools and social skills, to enter the world of work. The "Edutainment" project arises as way to educate through technology, but also to use entertainment as preparation weapon for the world of work, the associative movement, teamwork, inclusion and promotion of processes of inclusion in local communities but with global impact. With this project we aim to promote the autonomy of young people who participate in it, develop dynamics that create empowerment, training on the creation of self-employment, training in tools and technological capabilities, stimulate a creative-oriented process of education and training of young people, promoting a sense of accountability and mutual help between informal groups throughout Europe.Through the method of creating informal Start-ups, this project will involve directly and indirectly more than 200 young Europeans over the course of the project, and will be an answer that can generate new youth associations or youth people that are able to generate their own employment.
