The project aims to safeguard and increase the ecological value of the lake ecosystem and to promote the natural and cultural heritage by preparing and supporting eco-, agro- and cultural tourism initiatives. Some indicative outputs will be: • Tourism and thematic maps • Design and creation of tracking routes/paths • Eco-train for (near the lakes) tours for visitors • Implementation of the 'Joint Lakes-Routes' (virtual routes visiting the lakes available through the project web-portal) • Info-Centers for Environmental Support/Guidance • Cross-regional scientific conferences and a workshop for post-project continuation • An e-Library for the study and research of lake ecosystems • Annual cross-regional 'Lake Cultural festival • Actions for preserving lakeside areas (protection from intruders, signing, protecting nesting, etc.) • Tourist Guides on Lakes Ecosystems
