The interdisciplinary magazine
Start date: Sep 30, 2004, End date: Sep 29, 2006 PROJECT  FINISHED

The current projects objective is a wider dissemination of the economic and technical-scientific culture concerning highly interdisciplinary issues, such as those involving Agribusiness (i.e the industry of agricultural products and services), Environment and Landscape. This dissemination is carried out in first place thanks to a powerful tool: the international interdisciplinary magazine Agribusiness Paesaggio & Ambiente (Agribusiness Landscape & Environment Management), which is a proper training ground for a discussion on these themes. The magazine aims at providing an updating tool and at disseminating knowledge about the results of the new research carried out in the field of territory, landscape, environment and agriculture, in a framework of sustainable development. Moreover, the task is made easier by the regular updating of the magazine web site and the multimedia links. The initiative begins with the setting up of a database contaning the mailing list of Italian and Slovenian addressees, and the transformation of the web sites belonging to the magazine, to CISAPA and to the Friuli Venezia Giulia Ecoinstitute, which is now bilingual: Italian version (already existing) and Slovenian (a new creation). A further dissemination of the economic, technical and scientific culture will thus be possible. In a later stage a call for papers in Slovene is carried out; it will be communicated to teachers and researchers of the Slovenian universities (including their branches), asking for technical-scientific contributions (articles) to be sent to the magazine and to the planned symposium. During the two years of the project, in the Agribusiness Landscape & Environment Management issues the Italian text will be integrated by Extended Abstracts in Slovene. Two CD containing the papers presented at the symposiums will be sent to all the addressees.
