The EYE - European Youth Engagement, is a Youth in Action 1.1 project. The exchange include 43 youth in the age between 15-26 years old, and 10 groupleaders from England, Azores, Latvia and Sweden. The exchange will be at a scout camp called Kopparbo about 20 km from Stockholm City in Sweden, during 6 days the 11th - 18th of August 2008. Kulturskolan Stockholm is the coordinator for the project.The aim of this project, is to make the youth aware of their own identity and the European identity. Through forumplays, roleplays, games, values exercises, workshops and cooking the youth will find out likenesses and differences about school education, gender equality, democracy and living conditions. By these workshops they will get a non-formal knowledge about each others cultures. The youth have been prepared through workshops in their home countries, where they created their own digital stories about themselves to share with the other youth´s.The theme is Identity and it is developed by another EU-project, Socrates 2.1 "On the Edge".
