The effect of joining the European Union on crossborder relationships, agriculture and commerce - research project (rEUsearch)

The project's aim is to contribute to the economic development of the two counties interested by carrying out a social research: project partners and their associated partners surveyed 1000 entrepreneurs and interviewed 50 members of the region's elite economic experts according to controlled statistical methodology about their experience of Hungarian-Romanian network of business, concentrating on the period since joining the EU. Results are published in the form of studies, discussed at a conference and reviewed on the project's multilingual website. During the expert work, the number of scientific cooperation and common scientific studies will increase, which strengthens the two nation's cooperation in the long term.The general objective of the project is to contribute to the economic development of the two involved counties.Target groups: operating Hungarian and Romanian supplier, industrial and agricultural enterprises; decision makers. The main specific activities and results of the project are: operating Hungarian and Romanian supplier, industrial and agricultural enterprises; research and analysis. In the research 1000 entrepreneurs are surveyed and 50 elite members of the region's economy are interviewed. The target group is aware of exact economic data needed and at the same time that they benefit from the research result assuming that decision makers, who are also parts of our target group, will utilize the results in their developmental work.
