The development of ex-prisoners' integration into the labour market

The project aim was through informal learning and cooperation to prepare an international meth-odology for European countries providing know - how and information to help convicts and per-sons released from places of imprisonment to integrate into the labour market. Therefore, the re-sults of the collective work produced during this project was meant to integrate information col-lected from the participating countries as well as the European bibliography, thus becoming an up-to-date guide for EU countries. The methodology based on the data collected throughout the project period by all the partners called "DEPILM Report 2010-2012" was prepared during this project was concentrated on providing information to employers, adult education centres and in-stitutions, explaining how to support convicts and persons released from places of imprisonment, how to find means to improve or gain knowledge and competence. From the early stages of the project until now the use of introduced Methodology as a training tool is seen as a measure to solve the problem of education in EU population and to assist members of vulnerable social groups and living in marginal social contexts to lead a normal life and to (re) integrate into soci-ety. Furthermore, the current Methodology has limitless potential for advancement into the tools greater in scale and volume which is currently considered by the partnership.A Brochure was also made in all the languages of the partnership in order to give an outline of the findings of DEPILM with particular focus to the means of systematic and comprehensive attention to the needs of the people released from penal institutions. This Brochure will be a great tool for dissemination purposes and will definitely help to further the advancement of ideas and products that were the results of current partnership into broader dimensions.
