The main goals of the British Film Week are to emphasise the vitality and diversity of the British cinema and to illustrate the cultural and artistic life in Great Britain. The co-operation between Nuits Blanches and The Ignition Network have joint objectives by introducing French culture to a British audience, through a French Film Festival in Brighton. The Ignition Network is developing a cultural exchange between France and England by promoting French film Week in the way that Abbeville has with the British Film Festival.
