The grant helps the co-operational network of cross-border organisations producingand using biomass based on scientific research in favour of a better exploitation oflocal energy resources. The purpose of the co-operation is to increase the securityof the energy supply, to decrease the energy import dependence of both countries andthe 6 counties involved and to reduce the environmental pollution caused by energygeneration and supply. During the project, information material and books have beenpublished about the results; a digital camera, notebooks and portable printers havebeen bought. Based on the adapted scientific literature and the surveys a biomassenergetics co-operation model was completed.
