The purpose of the project is to market a running event over the bridge between Denmark and Sweden. The event is to take place in early summer each year. The event shall attract not only Swedish and Danish runners but also be an international running event and hopefully develop into an event the size of the Stockholm Marathon or the Berlin Marathon/halfmarathon. To create an international and interregional event will hopefully have a positive effect on the people in the region as to their interest in visiting the region and supporting such events.
