Through our project we would like to make young people aware of the citizenship both of their own country and Europe in general. We want to raise awareness and knowledge of young people in the field of democracy, active citizenship, also realize its role in the community and across the country to raise its value as an individual and motivated to take appropriate steps that perhaps, contribute to improvements in individual countries .
In response to the objectives of the Programme will seek a better understanding of citizenship, not only within one country, but also in the context of the European Union, the spread of active citizenship in the Community and abroad, but also democracy and pro-European attitudes.
Our project will aim to deepen the knowledge of the mechanisms of the European Union;
Active citizenship, compliance with the obligations and rights of citizens; transition to democracy; respect for human rights and humanitarian and development of key competences;
The project will be attended by 36 people from Poland, Ukraine and Turkey at the age of 16-24 years (10 participants and 2 leaders). 20 people are participants with fewer opportunities.
Our activities include:
- APV (02-03.09.15, Wisła), in which we will meet to discuss all organizational and substantive aspects of the project and present the position of future activities.
- Youth Exchange (21-29.09.15, Wisła), in which young people will meet to work together and discuss issues related to democracy, human rights and citizenship in the EU. The main methods of work will be interactive workshops, multimedia presentations, working with international groups, meetings with experts, debates, panel discussions, brainstorming, mapping, international group evaluation, the individual evaluations, games and integration activities, energizers, film shows, national evenings; All methods are based on the principles of non-formal education.
Our project will affect the consciousness of young people, we enlarge their knowledge of democracy, human rights and the functioning of the European Union, to motivate active citizenship, as well as skłonimy to reflect on their place in Europe. Developed by us will be made available in our countries, increasing the range of our activities and reach Erasmus +.
