The project will create a permanent network of artists and a cross-border cluster of co-operation between a Fine Arts School, artists in the community and arts / leisure services from the local authorities that will reinforce the twin town common history of Medway and Valenciennes.The project will deliver actions which establishes the arts sector not only as a joint expression of the cultural and artistic identity of the twin towns but also as a common denominator in the cross-border urban regeneration of deprived zones within these two areas.These actions will consist of study visits to Medway by Valenciennes arts students, visit programmes by Medway young people to the arts of Valenciennes and the organisation of exhibitions by Valenciennes artists in Medway.
