The Angel and the Aura. A cultural event for the youth inspired by the figure of Giuseppe Tartini (The Angel and the Aura)
Start date: Aug 31, 2003, End date: Jun 29, 2004 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project consists in the organisation of a cross-border musical event centred on the theme The Angel and the Aura and inspired by the life and works of musician Giuseppe Tartini. The project, aimed at the youth, has a didactic relevance - in that it is rooted in the joint work and collaboration of teachers, technical experts, cultural operators and students participating in a series of seminars on the various elements that make up an artistic composition (libretto, music, staging, etc.) - as well an artistic one - because Tartini, who was born in Piran- Pirano and then settled down in Veneto where he lived until his death, is the example of an itinerant musician and the symbol of dialogue between different cultures that find in musical virtuosity the instrument of unity among peoples. This event is also an opportunity for young students to get together and engage in dialogue, to promote youths participation in and approach to the world of music, visual arts and theatre: to this end, it was conceived to be staged both in occasional locations (gymnasiums, warehouses, town squares) and in theatres proper. A privileged communication tool is represented by the construction of a virtual set, that allows the use on stage of multiple and simultaneous projections. The cadenced progress of the project is monitored through the internet, where the calendar of activities is available; lastly, it is possible to follow, through film clips, the various work phases.
