New study trails are established as well as the already existing study trails and demonstration sites are systematised by the Bükk National Park Directorate in the border region, at its operation area identical with the programme area along the thematics of introducing nature conservation activities and management plans, by using an infrastructure with uniform image (boards, information points, rain-shelter-type information buildings). All actions mentioned above are enframed by the production of various promotion materials, information surfaces and popular-scientific publications in Hungarian, Slovakian and English, strengthening the nature approach of both the region´s residents and visitors. Achievements: Inland and international tourists, local inhabitants of the surrounding municipalities and schools visit the Bükk national park and the border area regularly. Eleven landscape protection areas and sixteen nature conservation areas can be found in the target area of the project. The aim of the project was to present the natural values of the national parks through the preparation of various promotional materials, a unified image of conservation demonstration sites, reception points, and the creation of a nature trail system that enables the presentation of landscape conservation, and significant cultural values.
