The aim of the project entitled "Technology brings people together" is to increase the language, job competencies and knowledge of the 40 students of the Roman Gostkowski Complex Schools in Lazy, Poland, in order to broaden their opportunities for personal growth and to increase their prospects for employment at the European work market.The foreign apprenticeship will allow the participants to learn about the new technological developments and the European standards of company management, which will broaden their horizons significantly. In addition, having international work experience and high quality skills, these young people will be more confident and more conscious participants of the European job market. Besides the acquired language and professional skills, the students will develop their entrepreneurial attitudes, improve their knowledge of other cultures and they will learn to be more tolerant and open. This will influence their sense of independence and increase their self-esteem.The programme implementation will help our school to improve the quality of vocational training, it will boost our prestige and improve the position on the local education market.The project is scheduled between 1st June 2016 and 31st May 2017. Together with our partner, the Vitalis GmbH company from Schkeuditz we will carry out several activities for the participating students. First they will take part in the preparatory language, culture and pedagogical classes that should prepare them for the mobility. Then 40 students who specialise to be railway power engineering technicians and airport services technicians will leave for Germany between 5th March 2017 and 1st April 2017. Finally, when the students are back in Poland, the school will involve them at disseminating the results of the project . Thanks to this project the students will increase their professional competences and their knowledge of foreign languages, they will develop their self-esteem and boost their motivation for learning. They will be encouraged to take control of their professional and personal development, they will become more interested in other European countries and they will develop their tolerance for different cultures.After completing the traineeship the participants will be awarded with certificates of participation, including the Europass Mobility, which will confirm their practice and competence. This will help them to feel confident not only on the local, but also at the international work markets. Their skills confirmed by the prestigious certificates will make them much more attractive for potential employers.
