The project „Technician of food technology – a profession of many possibilities on the european labour market“ will be carried out by the Centre for Vocational Education and Lifelong Learning No. 2 in Gdańsk and in cooperation with partners from Germany: Deula Nienburg, Deula Hildesheim and ILLUT Berlin-Bonn. In the internship will attend three 18-person groups of students from classes - technician of food technology and students of vocational school-profile-confectioner and baker.The aim of the project is to gain and widen the practical skills in field of food technology by students, to improve the knowledge of German language and communication skills, to open to the world, to increase the desire of knowledge, skillful use of innovative technological achievements and increase the chance of better employment in Poand and EU. The internship should raise the vocational competences of participants, motivate them to work in the learned profession and realize them the importance of environmental issues in the global world. It will be proceeded on the basis of previously acquired knowledge in confrontation with practice, since the main aim of the project is practical knowledge.Taking the opportunities of the Erasmus+ program, students acquire additional practical and professional skills to create their future professional and social attitudes, increase the competitiveness of the occupation in the local labour market and skills that will minimize the social exclusion. The program will be adapted to the participants‘ needs and the training center’s specificity taking into account the practical application of the issues in the area of food technology and widening them of such issues as organisation and supervising of culinary events and farm tourismIndividual groups will deal with the topics connected with food technology interrelated with:1.food standards and regulations in Germany,2.organisation and ways of functioning of modern laboratory, 3.studies and microbiological and pchysicochemical analysis of food, which will be presented by the students in the report of food examination in Poland and Germany,4.learning the tendency and needs of Latour market in Germany,5.analysis the acting of companies that work in the branch of food technology, including ecological food,6.knowledge verification in the issues of production process of beverages, confectionery, pastry goods and production of ecological food, what will be possibile due to visiting such companies as e.g. manufacture of mineral water, brewery, confectionary etc.,7.analysis of waste management with particular emphasis on food industry waste,8.comparision of marking food products ways in Poland and in Germany and in this way estimating the nutritional value of food products,9.comparising the stock using in confectionery industry and food additives10. running a business, rulet of getting financial help in starting a business of German conditions,11. knowing regional food and ways of its production12. learning carving, barista job and baristas’ services, making health coctails and smoothies as well as gaining knowledge in the field of dietetics basis,13. learning new tools and machines used in food industry, also in baking akces and their decorating,14. rules of dealing with the customer in agrotourism farm and promoting ecological food.Permanent effects of the scholarship: a Polish-German dictionary with vocabulary connected with food technology,a presentation and a blog, a guide book of healthy heating and presentations about the technological processes in food industry in German Language. The participants will create a Portfolio Europass. The documents, together with Europass-Mobility, will be a certification about the professional experience and language skills.We also hope that through participation in an internship young people will be more innovative and motivated to develop their skills and knowledge. Participation in the project will also contribute to the personal development of students, motivate to further learning and influence the development of assertiveness and communication skills, increasing also in this way their activity and competitiveness in the labour market.In addition to the tangible benefits of the participation in the project- students learn about the culture and customs of other nationalities.The internship in Germany will affect the integration of the group and strengthen its sensitivity and religious – cultural tolerance.It should be emphasized that the opportunity to go on an internship to the training center in Germany will increase the CKZiU No. 2 students' motivation to learn, especially foreign languages including German.For most students it is the only opportunity to go abroad ever. The entire project supervises and coordinates Mrs B.Mizerska–headteacher in the CKZiU No. 2 in Gdańsk. The financial settlement will be also kept by the school. The beginning- the school year 2016/2017.
