TC "Digital Literacy On Human Rights Education"

The mobility activities "Digital Literacy On Human Rights Education" was a digital literacy training course applied to human rights; aimed at the development of several key skills such as the use of internet and software for the production of drawings, text, photos and video; active listening, writing, presentation, teamwork, strategic planning, "decision making", diplomacy, flexibility; multilingualism, and learning to learn. The course was attended by 33 young people from Italy, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, Romania and the Netherlands. In order to achieve the project objectives, recourse was being examined by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other case studies, the guide informed use of the main social networks, group analysis, simulations, workhops, and to other non-formal / informal methods; based on the interaction between the participants and the active and immediate learning of the concepts. Participants increased their skills available to them becoming more aware of the tools at their disposal, with regard to the study and protection of human rights. Specifically, it increased their ability to select the reliable sources of information, exchange information and disseminate it using social media; for example to develop awareness campaigns.
