TBI: Mladi, mesto in dediščina
Start date: Jan 4, 2016, End date: Nov 3, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Project »TBI: Youth, City and Heritage« is a response of young people to the challenges of local environment and the lack of employment skills, in which young people search and create proposal for the development of three locations of industrial heritage in UNESCO-protected Idrija through work in international working groups. This project is answering to two important challenges common to all three partners - networking of organisations and participation of youth in redevelopment of rich mining heritage. The project ends with a youth exchange, at which participants finish their proposals, organize international event on youth and industrial heritage, and organize installations/interventions at locations that play the role of catalysts for changes in local development. With this project youth therefore offers a proposal for the development of local community, based on inclusion of youth and development of industrial heritage with respect to answering development issues of young people. Young participants will thus gain different sets of skills and knowledge (planning, group dynamics, online work, key skills), and will be able to independently share aquired knowledge with others and use it in their future challenges.
