The main aim of the project is to educate youth people to know the typical food products in different European countries and, through them, to learn about their history and their culture. Youth will study cultivation and processing techniques, usage and nutritional properties of each typical food. The groups will present to each other. They will also learn the people from other countries how to prepare the dishes. Local recipes with those products will be collected. Various activities are going to be carried out: information exchange, projects on different topics, videos or photos, publication of the works on the web sites, competitions, recipes, presentations, and so on. The recipes from each country will be collected in a book, which will be published on the web site. There will be also a time to know the groups from other countries as well as the neighbourhood. We plan to organise the sport activities, vistit at the fire department, first aid show, activities with the students at primary school. On the last day all the people will prepare various dishes from each country and serve it in the evening to the citizens of Drawsko Pomorskie. As a final result youth will have an in-depth knowledge of the culture of each partner, through food, from a multicultural point of view. They will know to get over stereotypes and they will also contribute to spread the knowledge of some typical products (and the cultural aspects linked to them) otherwise unknown.
