Take the Chance

To increase the capacity of the young people who have graduated from our Take the Chance program and the students from Eastern and South Eastern Anatolia region, newly graduated and seeking a job and having difficulties on economic,geographic,educational will be included to our project. We also want to support the disadvantaged young people who implemented voluntarily social responsibility projects for adding an international value to this projects within the scope of European Voluntary Service. The young people, who will participate and implement voluntarily activities, are the disadvantaged young people in Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia who has often no access to this such kind of opportunities. We want to contribute the social and personal development of these young people and improve themselves during the process. Our aims within the our project context; - Promoting active citizenship of the young people in Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia with involving them in volunteer activities-Support the European and Global Citizenship of Young people -Promoting the intercultural learning and intercultural dialogue among young people Take the Chance will be implemented with 27 short term and 3 long term volunteers between the dates 01 June 2016 till 01 June 2017 in following countries : Romania, Portugal Macedonia, Bulgaria and Armenia. The young people who will join our project will be the ones who want to develop themselves but have language obstacles, economic obstacles, educational difficulties which blocks them to participate the projects. Our project activities are aimed to include these young people directly to the activities. During the activities non-formal, formal and informal learning methods will be used actively and the activtiies will occur on the focus of experimental learning. The activities will be held during the project: 1 long term volunteer will be hosted in Gondomar, Portugal for 1 year with start date 1 June 2016. 6 short term volunteers will be hosted in Gondomar, Portugal for 2 months in 6 times ( 1 volunteer per 2 month ) from 1st of June 2016 till 1 June 2017. 1 long term volunteer will be hosted in Arrouquelas, Portugal for 1 year with start date 1 May 2016. 6 short term volunteers will be hosted in Arrouquelas, Portugal for 2 months in 6 times ( 1 volunteer per 2 month ) from 1st of May 2016 till 1 May 2017. 1 long term volunteer will be hosted in Arad Romania for 1 year with start date 1 May 2016. 6 short term volunteers will be hosted in Arad, Romania for 2 months in 6 times ( 1 volunteer per 2 month ) from 1st of May 2016 till 1 May 2017. 3 short term volunteer will be hosted in Macedonia, Kocani from start date 1st May 2016 till 28 October 2016. ( 1 volunteer per 2 months ).3 short term volunteer will be hosted in Yerevan,Armenia from start date 1st May 2016 till 28 October 2016. ( 1 volunteer per 2 months ).3 short term volunteer will be hosted in Madan,Bulgaria from start date 1st May 2016 till 28 October 2016. ( 1 volunteer per 2 months ).The target group of the project is young people aged 18-30 who lives in Southeastern and Eastern Anatolia regions of Turkey and disadvantaged. In the end of the project, these young people will be socially and culturally developed and their employability will be increased. In short term, we aim social awareness and mobility awareness, but in long term we want to add value to the active citizenship of young people.
