Täiendkoolitus Dundees (UK) Eesti koolitajatele, pagulas- ja uusimmigrandi staatusega naiste paremaks lõimumiseks Eesti ühiskonnas
Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: Jul 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The essence of the project is an additional training for Estonian specialists working in the field of migrants (especially refugee women), organised by Dundee International Women Centre (DIWC) in Scotland, UK. The goal of the training is to raise awareness about different methods how to better adapt and integrate migrant women and to acquire knowledge about language studies through recreation, job-market integration, radicalization prevention and topics of medicine that are specific to migrant women. The duration of the project is five days, from which three are actual training days. The training in Dundee will be held in September 2016. During 4 months after Dundee training, there will be seminars in Estonia, held by the organisations who participated in Dundee training. During these seminars around 45 people related with these organisations (mentors, social workers, volunteers etc) will get training based on the materials and methods from Dundee training held in September. The seminars in Estonia will eventually prepare Estonia to be a better receiving-country for migrant women, to prepare better programs for language studies through recreation, to organise better integration to job-market. The goal is also to prevent problems connected with violent traditions harmful for women and to prepare Estonian specialists for providing psychological help in these situations.
