T.O.T “Transfer of Tools between Non-Formal and Formal”

Aiming to “Widen the employability opportunities and abilities in practice for 32 participants from 7 countries as future youth trainers in formal institutions or youth centres” and to ”Develope innovation and creativity in running non-formal curricula in formal institutions, especially on European citizenship using methods as: socio-animation, graphic facilitation, mind mapping, social media tools, storytelling for 12 days” , T.O.T “Transfer of Tools between Non-Formal and Formal” creates a bridge between non-formal and formal education using grassroots and community impactful activities . Each of the 7 partners will have 4 representatives in the Network of Youth Trainers for Schools using European Citizenship topic (including HRs, intercultural learning, democratic values) , are empowered to run non-formal afterschool sessions focusing pupils’ civic behaviour. The planned activities focus on a professional clarifying of training , non-formal and learning process concepts, on build abilities to multiply the new competences, follow-up and local networking activities, use on social media innovative web tools for sharing and developing as Network, on dissemination and valorisation of results , stress the self-commitment and network based professional development. The project implementation is based on a innovative methodology: graphic facilitation, storytelling, social media tools, mind mapping, while the entire planned program is strongly community orientated as demo sessions of the 32 learners have school beneficiaries and will have a positive impact upon the community , as well as on the participants, pupils as indirect beneficiaries.The T.O.T. involves a complex strategic cooperation and synergy among partners, host organization, local stakeholders, schools and universities. The new Network will produce a solid and fruitful connection between the formal and non-formal education, emphasizing the complementary and importance of both in the construction of an integrat, complete citizen. Aiming to support the professional development of 32 people working in education, training and youth with a view to innovating and improving the quality of teaching, training and youth work across Europe, TOT will encourage participants to reflect upon European topics and involve them in the construction of Europe by promoting European citizenship in formal education using non-formal tools, offering participants the opportunity to identify common values with persons from different countries and together cooperate in applying new developed competences.
