In Hungary, the involvment of youth in politics, as well as out National Youth Council, is still in its initial stages compared to other EU member countries that is why our organisation's aim is to help the system in getting strong. In order for them to become strong and significant, we need continuity and the establishment of a structured system that takes into consideration young people’s needs, since the futures is in their hands. In our days youth are a huge unused human resource. Just like other adult citizens they have a view and opinion on most issues, they are concerned about the changes of the laws so it is unreasonable to keep them out of the process of creating a better future for our country together. Our main goal is to raise awareness about the fact that the opinion of youth cannot be avoided when it comes to decision making, and to give new aspects of different policies concerning youth (e.g.: labour law, non-governmental/ civic organizational regulations and operation). Moreover, our overall aim is to make young people’s voice be heard, and have their innovative ideas added to the general political platform. I order to reach our main aim we create five different workshops in topics relevant to the everyday life of the youth, which will work on the solutions of the existing problems while continuously monitoring the youngsters which means the youngsters on local level will have the opportunity to give feedback. The conferences will help in getting in touch with the decision makers, and in the promotion of the project results. Another aim of the project is to develop a structured dialogue process in which the youngsters and the decision makers can meet directly, where the participatns of the dialogue can communicate and change their ideas directly in order to giving opportunities to the youngsters in decision making.
