The project “Trail of tradition” is organized by youngsters of in Association ”Active for Dlugopole Górne”cooperation with other 5 partner organizations from different parts of Europe. It is a multilateral youth exchange program that will bring together 25 youngsters between the age: 15-25 from different countries all over Europe with the objective of exchanging ideas and practices about traditions connected with special days in their countries, such as Christmas and Easter, Wedding customs and Carnival, from the perspective of differences in each country. The project aims to teach the youngsters traditions and customs concerning different cultures and nationalities through non-formal way of learning, such as workshops, displays, discussions. Young participant will have the chance to share, present and exchange his/her knowledge about renewable traditions in his her country, its history and ways of preserving from being lost. They will expand their knowledge by discussing with specialists and youngsters from different nationalities. The intercultural exchange will be encouraged through work in multinational teams, as well as in group dynamics such as creativity games, outdoor activities, exploration challenges and thematic workshops. At the end of this project, youngsters will be accustomed of the differences in culture and traditions of many countries of the Europe and will see that this variety make the whole Europe more unique and interesting to be discovered. Moreover, they will make an open festival for the local people during which the participants will present their culture and traditions.
