The greatest challenge for our school is to involve all studends equally in the learning process to implement concrete measures to assure pupils equal opportunities to gain knowlegde. Teaching students with and without disabilities together can only be successful, when the pedagogical staff knows enough about specific requirements of various intellectual and physical disabilities. Adapting didactic and methodological concepts to prevailing needs is one of the main aims of the project. Our another goal is introduction of pedagogical innovation CLIL - teaching particular subjects with elements of English and German. This new method will allow students to comunicte freely in both written and spoken foreign language. We are aware of our students' needs and problems and we want to face them and prepare our pupils to the next educational level. It is possible only with well-prepared team of teachers. Thanks to the project we will be able to look at our students from a different perspective, more broadly and to think about methods we use while teaching. Six teachers will take part in the project (1/3 of our staff). However, its influace will be much greater. The participatns: English, German, History, Biology, Chemistry, Music, Art and PE teachers, they are all oblidged to share their experience with their colegues at teachers' meetings, workshops and "open lessons". The first stage of the project will be the linguistical and methodological preparation to the courses. All courses have been wisely chosen to suit our needs. After the courses the teachers will work in teams to share their knowledge and experience so that the other teachers could use it in their work. All project activities will evaluated and adjusted to students' needs. We will also focus on dissemination of our activities so that as many people as possible will be informed about the project and could benefit from our experience. We do hope that the changes we are going to introduce will influace students marks and exam results as well as their involvment in educatioal process. Moreover, we are planning to take part in Erasmus+ KA2 and be active at eTwining.
