Ferenc Rákóczi II. Secondary school has been present in the educational system since 1885 as the biggest vocational training institution in Felső Szabolcs region and since that time vocational training is within institutional frames. The sociocultural background of the students in our town and its surroundings is rather adverse. In the academic year of 2014-2015 the number of our students is 980. The number of disadvantaged students is 65% of all the students who attend our school. Starting from this we try to make use of any opportunities to increase the chances of being equal for our students. Since 2004 we have made nineth successful traineeships with German partner institutions. The intermediary partner who also takes part in the project is Staatliche Berufsschule I Rosenheim which is the biggest vocational institution in Upper Bavaria. The number of its students is more than 2000 people. As our professional plans agree, our traineeship programs of the past few years are really successful. The main aim of this tender is to help our students in their future career and mobility. By getting acquainted with the labour culture of a country that is more developed in economics than ours, our students will be able to obtain better knowledge and experiences. They will get such kind of skills that can give them the chance to find a job easier or start a business after graduation . One of the biggest goals of this tender is developing the knowledge of foreign languages of our students to experience in person that nowadays it is impossible to live without foreign languages. An other goal is to get acquainted with the culture of an other country, but we also find it important for the students to enjoy themselves during the project and those 6 weeks spent in Germany should be a lifelong pleasant experience. In case of a successful tender 15 students with 2 mentors would take part in a 7-week summer traineeship in Germany between 01. July, 2015 – 18. August, 2015. According to the declaration of conformity of our partners our students fulfill traineeship in the following places: - Schmelmer Hof Bad Aibling: 1 janitor (painter, decorators, wallpaperer and a fitter), 2 parlour maids (catering), 1 cook and 1 waiter (catering) - St. Georg Hotel Bad Aibling: 8 people from the sphere of catering: waiter, cook, janitor and parlour maid - Hotel zur Post Rohrdorf: 2 parlour maids As a result of the project, the students who perform the traineeship will get closer to the world of labour. They will get such kind of skills and certificate that is Euroconform , thus giving them the chance to find a better job, their language competences and professional vocabulary will develop The participants and those who live around them will be more courageous while looking for a job abroad (their mobility grows). There will be a possibility of cooperation between foreign and Hungarian enterprises. The successful execution of the project will also increase the recognition and seduction of our institution among our future students. We think the traineeship abroad to be a good investment because its profit will be given not only for the school and the students but also in long term for the economics.
