The project "Symbiosing it! Enhance youth participation" is a 7-day training activity during which twenty participants will work on different aspects related to the development of youth participation projects. They will reflect about the concept of partiipation, its different levels -from individual to global-; ways of civic participation in the EU and howits politics influence our personal environment; the current situation of the young people concerning their involvment in decission making processes; planification, management and development of participation processes with young people. Additionally, other open activities will be taking place during the training course where the local young community and youth organisations will have the opportunity to exchange their culture with the participants. The participants will be youth workers and youth leaders of the partners organisations, from Turkey, Italy, Portugal, Bulgary, Armenia and Spain. They will exchange their experiences, good practices and other useful tools towards the development of participation processes. The working methods will be set up from the previous expectations and knoledge of the group, building together a process based on their interests and skills thgouth artistic and non-formal education methods, and aiming to develop new competencies in a experiencial and personal way. The achievements of the project wil be the proliferation of new agents aiming to develop projects on active citizenship and european youth participation, as well as the creation of a network of organisations willing to cooperate in new initiatives on the field. This activity foresees to improve the community relations, the quality of life and personal development and empowerment of European young people, making them an active part of the decission making processes that affect them.
