SVILUPPO TURISTICO: TRA COMPETITIVITA' E SOSTENIBILITA'

The project comes from the study of Calabria economic resources in particular and Europe in general. Infact, tourism could be at the bottom of the economy, but especially in the South of Italy it is inefficiently used. The problems of image, some features of the economic environment and often the lacking skills of human resources have prevented the formation of a dynamically active in the perspective of a global economy. It is therefore necessary to adopt certain policies in order to increase the attractiveness of the sector. So, it becomes a need to increase the access to the international market and to acquire competitiveness too. One of the first step to rise is the formation of adequate human resources with high competences and the right know-how regarding methods and processes of internationalisation of enterprises to compare with other European reality. The main objective of this proposal therefore, is to give the opportunity to young people to improve their given skills and to acquire new technical-professional know-how. This, through their insertion within qualified work groups and different companies, which give them new important awareness and experience within an intercultural system. That of interculture, connected to the charactere of the innovation is an essential factor in the creation of a development strategy for firms whose aim it is to establish themselves within international economy. In order to achieve these international competences the beneficiaries will attend a training period of 80 days. All the project will be developed in 12 months between 1/10/2014 and 30/09/2015. The Applicant organisation and the local partner will be involved in drafting and launch of the project, selective process, monitoring of the project, dissemination of results. Host countries will be: Malta, Bulgary, Spain, Slovenia. Foreign partner have been accurately chosen in order to guarantee reliability and efficiency. In order to achieve these objectives, all agreements with the foreign partners have already been defined and signed. The participants, during their stay in the hosting country, will be tutored and mentored by the staff of the intermediary and hosting partner. Regularly, the tutor/s of these organisations will monitor and evaluate the project in order to guarantee its correct progression and to achieve the best results. Transversal objectives are: a) To promote the acquisition of competitiveness and high competences; b) To promote the acquisition of a strong European identity and consciousness in young people; c) To promote intercultural awareness and active citizenship. At the end of the experience, the participants will have the necessary knowledgement related to the internationalisation skills and it can contribute to increase the economic national level, with a new intercultural awareness.
