“UCPA Sports Vacances” is an association (NGO) that aims to promote access to as many outdoor sports. This objective comes on holydays time, recreation, but also the voluntary and professional training.UCPA wants to welcome European Youth. More and more young Europeans come to vacation time at the UCPA. So welcome into its teams of volunteers foster multiculturalism and educates young French interest in a mobility experience.For hosted volunteers, UCPA offers an interesting playground in different areas (communication, sustainable development, health, exchanges) to express and develop their skills. The UCPA is also the experience of sport, nature and seasonal life. Finally, the UCPA is the possibility of living rich experiences of encounters and exchanges with French and European young people.Initially, the UCPA will host two volunteers, one in the center of St Cyr sur Mer, the other on the center of La Salle Les Alpes, for missions 5 and 8 months. It is not expected of particular profile of participants, if not they like outdoor sports and non-formal education. We hope that these experiences will promote awareness among the teams UCPA sense of European citizenship and encourage them to have experiences of mobility. We hope that volunteers will bring a new perspective of mobility to the young people of our organization.Finally, to welcome young, we wish that beyond improving language skills, the volunteers develop valuable skills on the professional level, discover the nature of sports and the local environment of their implementation.We hope that the success of these two experiences will encourage other UCPA centers to file an application for certification EVS.
