Sustainable development of the use of subsurface waters in the region along the Hungarian-Serbian border

In the course of project implementation, the quality and quantity conditions of subsurface waters in the Hungarian-Serbian cross-border region were explored in the target area by the Environment and Water Directorates performing the "management" tasks of surface waters in Hungary together with the development opportunities provided by them, with particular regard to surface ecosystems. Simultaneously with this proposal, an application with a similar subject was submitted by the Serbian party as well, to perform the investigations required in the territory of Serbia. In the knowledge of exploitable subsurface water reserves identified in the cross-border region, the limits of water stock use required for the development of the region can be worked out by which sustainable development priorities can be identified in the long run. Achievements: Please refer to the 'Description' field, which also includes the achievements of this project.
