The overall objective of the project is the improvement of living standards of the rural population of the main core areas of the Lithuania-Poland-Russia ENPI Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2007-2013. Expected Results: 1. Assessment of rural border territories sustainable development applying sustainable development indicators. Establishing of information and methodological base of this issue.2. Evaluation of the modern situation and perspectives for development of rural entrepreneurship. Creation of information and methodological base of this problem.3. Creation of layer of professionally trained farmers and rural entrepreneurs through organization of training events, study tours and publication of recommendations for successful development of agricultural business also through recruitment of investors.4. Contribution to development of local initiatives and communities.5. Reservation and resurrection of cultural and cuisine traditions on rural border territories of Lithuania, Poland and Russia.
