The applicant for the grant project Study in Europe Erasmus + is a High school of Hospitality, Culinary Arts and Services UCMCC Šilheřovice, Ltd., Dolní 356 747 15 Šilheřovice. The project start is scheduled for 1 st October 2016, the implementation time will be 14 months. As part of its strategic development our school wants to bring a European dimension in teach-ing and to focuse on the target group of students and teachers through mobility in vocational education and training in close connection with School educational programme and Erasmus +. The main reason for engaging in Erasmus + programme is to provide access to new methods and approaches in teaching not only to our students but also to our teachers. The opportuni-ties they would not be able to acquire in the normal school environment in the exercise of their profession. Three teachers who act as a long-term foreign language teachers at school will be involved in the project Study in Europe. They regularly participate in the preparation of students for graduation / final exam and are experienced evaluators for school-leaving examination. Within one year the teachers will take part in selected language courses focusing on general language, professional and business language and also on new methods in language teach-ing. The aim of this project is to gain a new dimension in language teaching, new methodological knowledge incorporated into each lesson plans for individual study fields and into School ed-ucational programme and to strengthen and intensify the teaching of foreign languages at school. Creating of new didactic material for teaching foreign languages will be another result of the project. We are planning to use the material for language lessons in next school years and to use them for linguistic preparation of students in projects Mobility Key Action 1 of the Erasmus +. Discussion meetings will be held after completion of individual participations in the courses at our school. The participants of internships will discuss their project experience and share examples of good practise with other colleagues within the subject committees. The partici-pants will also participate in the preparation of materials for meetings of principals of partner schools, they will provide written feedback on their project experience for general public on the school website.
