Strengthening co-operation and network resources in favor for achieving economic growth (COOP-BANAT)

The aim of the project is to strengthen the co-operation and the possible advantages of networking for enhancing economic growth in the Southern Great Plain Region of Hungary and in the Western Region of Romania. The cross-border co-operation helps the local governments, firms and stakeholders to draw up a common conception to evolve the strategic line about the success of the regions. The key of the success is the economic growth and the efficient exploitation of special conditions and possibilities.The main activities of the project are: organizing workshops and steering committee meeting, purchasing equipment.The target group is formed by all municipalities, who decide to participate on the workshops and those companies and SMEs, which will ask for the services of the office in Jimbolia. The companies can set up networks for better collective advocacy, they can find new business partners and they can lobby for better institutional conditions at the members of the municipalities. Moreover they can help to the local government to find the best strategy for the economic growth in the region.
