Streetgizer
Start date: Aug 1, 2014, End date: Dec 1, 2014 PROJECT  FINISHED

STREETGIZER introduces the power of street through non-formal education to youth work. 7 days long Training Course brings together youth workers and youth leaders from post-socialistic countries who would like to be heard and address burning issues in their local communities. Streetgizer empowers them with creative forms for nonviolent action, experience and determination to be heard and part of the public space. Because street brings voice to youth and means visibility;-) STREETGIZER will take place in September 2014 in Brno, Czech Republic, the city where new public activist generation has been growing rapidly and where Be International, the hosting NGO, has operated for 5 years. 31 participants from 10 countries will come together and explore the power of public action. At the end participants will know how to creatively address youth topics by different forms of nonviolent action, they will know how to get attention.
