The multilateral Youth Exchange “Street (he)Art” will take place in a small hostel in central Italy from the 21st to the 28th of August 2016. The themes of the project are theatre and its role in dealing with social issues in contemporary Europe, such as the social inclusion, racism, prejudice. 33 participants from five different European countries (Italy, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Czech Republic) will gather in order to develop their acting skills through dedicated workshops carried out by local experts and to rearrange five traditional plays for a final performance that will take place in a real theatre on the last day of the exchange. To do this, all the participants will have to prepare the scenery, choose their costumes, write the scripts and rehearse before the final show.
