Society ?Erfolg? arrange different courses, non-formal education events, youth projects, cultural and social activities for different age and for different social level groups. The youth exchange project ?Street Art" will run in Daugavpils 1 year (17.06.2014. - 14.07.2015.). Project themes are: art and culture, youth leisure time and cultural differences. All these themes are very close to youths and that why it will be very interesting to combine graffiti and hip hop together. Project activities are planned 9 days training for 30 youth from such countries as Turkey, Czech Republic, France, Italy and Latvia.The main project activity will be creation of open air graffiti gallery in Daugavpils city, which project participants will create by their selves based on knowledge which they will gain during the project. As the working methods will be used workshops, trainings, excursion team activities, ice-breaking activities, discussions, performances, flash-mobs, work in pairs and groups, interviews of project participant, hip hop and graffiti master classes, graffiti in freestyle technique, street workout activities etc . During the project activities the youth will have an opportunity to get to know a European countries culture, get know Latvia and know about youth interests in graffiti and hip hop. During the project, young people will develop their own masterpieces of graffiti on the walls and prove themselves in such music style as hip hop and break dance. Through activities of graffiti and hip hop youth will provide they opinion about such important themes as solidarity, tolerance, inclusion, different culture multiplicity etc. Realizing the planned activities in the project, there will be promoted the development of the international dialog, the improvement of the youth communication and social skills, the broadening of the outlook, awareness of the belonging to the European youth community.
