Our project, titled as “Street Art – Intercultural stories”, has a main goal, that is to say increasing the disadvantaged and multiple disadvantaged youngsters’ ability to express themselves, creativity, and tolerance through art activities that are close to the younger generation. The participating 32 youngsters and 4 group leaders will get familiarize with art tendencies of Street Art during the youth exchange. With this they will be able to express their feelings, and emotions easier, while we are enhancing their tolerance towards each other as well as their adaptability. During the exchange, youngsters will have to create a piece of art, a production that promotes anti-racism and is against prejudices; moreover it raises society’s awareness towards tolerance. In the exchange we apply wide range of non-formal pedagogical methods. The long term effect of the project is the attitude that we want to share with youngsters during the exchange, because it is important for them to be tolerant towards each other, and to be engaged with their closer as well as wider environment. In the project there are activities that are aimed to develop competencies in terms of social responsibility. Above all, building international relations will have a great effect in the long run, which will be highly positive among both the participants and the implementing organizations. In the project implementation, there are 4 participating organizations from Hungary, Poland, Macedonia, and Serbia.
