Street Animation as a tool for local actions will gather 6 partners, from Portugal, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Italy in order to equipe youth with specific street animation competencies to run local actions using street animation as a pedaghogical tool for social education.The project is composed by two activities:1° Feasibility Visit (5 - 8 February 2010, Alvito, Portugal), where the team will meet in order to discuss and prepare the training course contents and materials; feasibility visit is like a crucial moment of the project itself as it will allow for the team and experts to jet a deeper knowledge of the partners needs in terms of the training course and adapting the methodologies to achieve it2° Training Course (23rd April - 2nd May 2010, Alvito, Portugal) - with four participants from each partner youth leaders and youth workers will be trained on developing the competencies of street animation in order to be able to apply the newly gained competencies in implementing the local projects and participating actively in. the civil society.Priviliging non formal education in all the stages of the project we intend to create new spaces of creative and active participation, using specific arts techiques such as theatre, music, circus arts, multimedia between other.Moreover, it must be emphasized that the project is coinciding with long term strategy approved in APN 2008"that prioritizes the local activities implemented by the members of the network, empowerement of the local" volunteers trying to reach more sustainable impacts to the local society.
