The European Development Plan of the 38 Lyceum of Athens "Strategies for improving educational practices" submitted under the Official Announcement Call for Proposals 2015 Learning Mobility of Individuals of Erasmus + is related to the achievement of upgrading management competencies and educational practices of the school staff, new teaching methods or tools and their quality in order to be able to face future challenges of educational reforms in Europe. Specifically: 1.Our school aims to create an administrative practice such as to adopt innovations which are related to the introduction of new knowledge, skills, attitudes for both students and teachers by establishing a task force for creating new activities to improve the existing system. 2. Participants will follow an educational process taking part in workshops activities, discussion in class, classrooms observation. In addition, participants can share experiences with colleagues from other countries and create a project for implementation to be used in the best way in our school. In this way an innovative reform of our school based on the evaluation of the results of the course will be possible. 3.In these terms and taking into account the decentralization of educational administration, our school aims to learn how to link itself to local and European institutions by organizing meetings and programs such as e-Twinning or Erasmus KA2, in which the partners are invited to participate. The participants are holders of M.Sc. degrees, educated in topics concerning the school management, didactics and the use of ICTs in education. They are going to work in pairs, in order to accomplish the main goals of the project (school management improvement and activities organization, new educational practises and ICTs). The plan includes the participation in "Best Practises Benchmarking" which interferes with topics such as innovation and digitalization in education which are absolutely relevant to the school goals. During the realization of the plan, participants will gain knowledge, experience and expertise in management, didactic best practises and digitalization of education which will include in the schools curriculum. Meanwhile the school will be able to find partners in order to organize e-Twinning or KA2 Erasmus + projects. Spreading of new knowledge and its results to school's function will be made to pupils, teachers, the school and local community through the school's webpage, the www.sciencezone.gr webpage and the workshops organized in collaboration with EKFE Omonoias and local stakeholders. The benefits from the plan are expected to be the improvement of the school's curriculum concerning management and didactic procedures. In addition our school will be able to broaden its European dimension and collaborate with other European Schools.
