Strategy of Polygenerations Unemployment

The goal of the project from the angle of the system of employment in the Hungarian-Croatian border area is:to create practical models with a strategic plan for improving the social reintegration of vulnerable families with one or more members having working capacity and their return to the labor market. The program developed a methodology to provide complex services based on the specific problems of vulnerable families. In the process of drafting a joint strategy, 30 expert advisors from employment offices were included, and in the experimental group that served as the model for designing the project there were 40 persons from the target group of unemployed in the County of Zala. The cross-border impact of the project is evident in the intensive connection and cooperation. The experiences gained during the cooperation also helped the cross-border partner in taking steps towards reducing multi-generational unemployment. Achievements: Individual counseling for target group members, improvement of potential workforce capacity and readiness, educational programs that enabled several of the unemployed in the target group to find a job in accordance with their education and expectations. The project resulted in the Strategic Methodological Manual which clearly shows the achieved results and acquired experience that was developed within the program. The purpose of the Manual is for the presented model to serve as an example to other organizations.
